Thom Sets School Record

Croton High School guard Ian Thom set the school record for assists on Dec. 11 in a game against Martin Luther King School. Thom, the son of Tigers’ coach William Thom, had four assists in the game to reach 291. He surpassed the previous record of 289 set by Dan Moore in 1990.

No Doubt About Doughty

Croton High School pitcher Christian Doughty signed his letter of intent to play for Holy Cross. Once he takes the field, he will become the first Croton player since Dave Carr in 1978 to play Division I baseball.

Toughmen, ToughTeens and ToughKids

Croton Point Park hosted the Fifth Annual Toughman in September, in which more than 1,200 adults and 700 children participated. For the first time, the event featured a ToughTeen event for athletes ages 15 to 19.
