MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Four Hendrick Hudson High School students -- Michael Ciulla, Madeline Cohen, Damian Pezzano, and Dana Smith -- have been named Commended Students in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program.
A Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corp. will be presented by Principal James Mackin to these scholastically talented seniors.
They placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
“This recognition of four high-achieving Hen Hud seniors is a testament to their hard work and commitment,” Mackin said. “We couldn’t be prouder.”
