YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have charged a 24-year-old resident of Buchanan for petty larceny, after an incident at Sears.
Police responded to a report of a larceny from the store on Tuesday, April 16, according to officials.
An investigation revealed that the defendant, identified as Alyssa Rodriguez, allegedly removed merchandise having a total value of $97.97 from store displays and exited the store without paying, police report.
Rodriguez was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters for processing, according to officials.
She was subsequently released after posting $250 bail, and is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, May 17, police report.
