Navin Gets More Time To Mull Deal In Easton Murder Case

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A judge is giving Kyle Navin a little more time to decide whether to take a plea deal or go to trial on charges that he killed his Easton parents last year in an effort to get their money, according to the Connecticut Post.

At a hearing Thursday, Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin continued the case to Jan. 12 to allow for further discussion about the unspecified deal. Attorneys for both sides did not comment on the case Thursday, the Connecticut Post says.

Navin is charged with two counts of murder an one count of murder under a special circumstance. If convicted, the Bridgeport man could face the maximum sentence of life in prison.
