Authorities are asking the public for help locating and identifying a man accused of committing a lewd act on Long Island.

On Thursday, Sept. 23, a 911 caller reported that a man in a dark-colored sedan was committing a lewd act on Division Street in Holtsville, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.

On Thursday, Sept. 23, at about 8:40 a.m., a 911 caller reported that a man in a dark-colored sedan was committing a lewd act on Division Street in Holtsville, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.

"The suspect was described as white or Hispanic, in his 20s, with dark hair and facial hair," Suffolk County Crime Stoppers reported.

Authorities are offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Tips can be submitted by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
