CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Hugo Iodice Jr., of Cortlandt Manor, died on Sunday, March 6. He was 53.

Born in the Bronx, "Hugo was a neighborhood fixture with his mortgage business and his philanthropic involvement in many local communities both at home and in Croton-on-Hudson, where his business endeavors were located," according to information provided by the funeral home.

Iodice is survived by his wife, Martha (Taboada); his Max and Alexhis; parents Mary and Hugo Sr; sister Mary Anne and her husband Art; niece and goddaughter Mary Anne; brothers-in-law Armando and Jose; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends and colleagues that he considered family.

Visiting hours will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, and from 2-5 and 7-9 on Friday, March 11, at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., in Montrose. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at Holy Name of Mary Church, 114 Grand St., in Croton-on-Hudson.
