CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. - Esther May McNally, a longtime Cortlandt Manor resident, died June 6. She was 79.
McNally was born May 14, 1934, to John and Ann Quinn Gray on Long Island. She was a sales clerk at Caldor’s for 25 years and also was a bus monitor for Royal Coach.
McNally is survived by her husband, John J. McNally, Sr.; children, Patrick McNally, Kathleen McNally, Eileen and Richard Lepore, Maureen and Dan Scott, John J. and Debbie McNally, Jr., Colleen and David Gray, Thomas McNally and Donna Straface; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and her sister, June Kobus of Arizona. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Michael McNally; and in-laws, Thomas and Ann McNally.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 9 at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10 at St. Columbanus Church. Cortlandt Manor, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
