Edward F. Mulvey, 88, Of Cortlandt Manor, Metro North Railroad Conductor

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. - Edward F. Mulvey of Cortlandt Manor died May 4. He was 88.

Mulvey was born Sept. 26, 1924, in Manhattan to Francis and Mary Carmody Mulvey. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as a conductor for the N.Y. Central and Metro North-Railroads.

Mulvey is survived by sons, Patrick Mulvey of Eagle, Colo., and Kevin Mulvey (Kristin) of White Plains; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Caroline Campbell

Calling hours are Friday, May 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley.
