CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Beginning Monday, sections Route 9A will close in Ossining and Briarcliff Manor overnight through Friday, May 13.
The New York State Department of Transportation said the closure will begin at 9 p.m. each night at the Pleasantville Road overpass in Briarcliff Manor for construction.
The lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. the following morning. In addition, state officials said there would be left lane closures between Hawkes Avenue in Ossining and Pleasantville Road and to follow the posted detour.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers, DOT officials said.
