Newburgh Man Admits To Driving Over Gas Station Employee Twice

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – A Newburgh man admitted on Wednesday to driving over a gas station attendant twice and causing injuries that ultimately killed the victim, according to the Times Herald-Record.

Milton Galdamez Pena, 22, ran over Jaspal Singh, 21, who was measuring levels in a gas tank near the pumps of the Shell station on Broadway in Newburgh. Pena then backed up and ran over Singh again, the Record said. 

Pena also admitted to getting out of his car to check on Singh, but elected to drive away instead of helping. Singh died from his injuries, the Record reported.
