As work continues on a train grade crossing, Metro-North Railroad is providing bus service between the New Canaan and Stamford stations for select trains on Fridays and for all trains on Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 23.

Buses will operate 15 to 20 minutes earlier than scheduled trains. Metro-North asks passengers to listen for announcements and check local or express bus service to their destinations while boarding.

Metro-North is changing the service to accommodate grade crossing work as part of the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s reconstruction of the Merritt Parkway bridge.

A complete schedule is available on the Metro-North website.
