She went into cardiac arrest early Wednesday morning, said Dunn's fiancé, Henry Zetwick.

"Prognosis is not good," he said via email. She "was put back in coma ... The next 24 hours are critical. ... We need prayers right now for Marie and to keep our little family together."

Earlier this week, Zetwick had shared news of Dunn's 50th birthday, which is on Friday, Aug. 5.

He was organizing a party for her with friends and family members. To make the event special, he asked readers send birthday cards to Dunn.

She is residing at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury at 300 Grant Ave., Lake Katrine, NY, 12449.

After the accident in November, Dunn was placed in an induced coma. She suffered a broken pelvis and head trauma. Both sides of her skull were broken, and she suffered bleeding on and in the brain.

A GoFundMe page had been launched for Dunn. So far, the Care for Marie Dunn and Children GoFundMe page has raised $2,595, but its goal is to hit $30,000.
