Ice Cream Social opened in White Plains on Monday, July 5. The shop is located at 481 Mamaroneck Ave.
"The point of Ice Cream Social is to help create the kind of city we want to live in," said Erin O'Keefe, who opened up the shop with Pam Geiger. "We are White Plains natives and love White Plains, and this is our way of giving back to the community, as we're hoping this will be a community-oriented space for friends, family, parents and kids to enjoy."
The business' online menu lists a variety of flavors, including vegan options and flavors that are made with hormone-free Hudson Valley cows milk. Find the full menu here.
The shop is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays and Tuesday through Thursday. It is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
"The outpouring of support has been overwhelming," the owners wrote in a Facebook post. "Thank you to the amazing White Plains community."
