Kitchen Tune-Up, a national kitchen remodeling company known for its signature one-day wood restoration service, has opened in Stamford.

The franchise's customized update and upgrades services for kitchens include the "Tune-Up" which is a reconditioning process, as well as cabinet re-dooring, cabinet painting, cabinet refacing, custom cabinets, Granite Tune-Ups, and accessories.

Stamford’s Kitchen Tune-Up can finish its work in as little time as one day, according to the owners.

"Our goal is to make kitchen updates hassle-free for homeowners,” said Victoria Roca de Togores, co-owner along with Tony Ryder.

They are both area residents, have backgrounds in residential and commercial design, and attended the Carleton Varney School of Art and Design at the University of Charleston. 

“Victoria and Tony are a fantastic addition to the Kitchen Tune-Up family. We have all the confidence in them to carry on the Kitchen Tune-Up tradition,” said Heidi Morrissey, president of the Kitchen Tune-Up Franchise System.

Founded in 1988, Kitchen Tune-Up specializes in affordable kitchen updates.

The franchise headquarters is in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

In addition to residential clients, Kitchen Tune-Up in Stamford offers kitchen updates for commercial customers.
