CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Brotherhood Lecture Series is coming to Temple Israel in Croton-on-Hudson on April 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Burdick Community Room for a program titled "Was God Absent During The Holocaust?"
Attendees with hear the testimony of Moshe Avital, author of 15 books and noted speaker on the Holocaust. Avital was deported with his family from Czechoslovakia to Auschwitz when he was 14 years old. He was liberated from Buchenwald by the American Third Army on April 11, 1945.
Avital will present his extraordinary experiences that will bring to light many unknown facts about the Holocaust era.
All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
