Stamford's Avon Theater Presents Paul Taylor: Creative Domain Documentary

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Avon Theatre in Stamford will present a documentary on renowned choreographer Paul Taylor, followed by a question-and-answer session with the film’s director and producer.

“Paul Taylor: Creative Domain” will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the Avon Theatre, 272 Bedford St., Stamford. Kate Geis, the film’s director, producer and editor will answer questions after the show.

The movie pulls back the curtain revealing Taylor’s creative process as the elusive choreographer crafts his 133rd dance “Three Dubious Memories.” Geis is an Emmy Award-winning documentary producer with more than 20 years’ experience creating programs for WNET, History Channel and A&E, to name a few.

Tickets are free for Carte Blanche members, $7 for members, $9 for students and seniors, $12 for non-members and can be purchased online at avontheatre.org.
