Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker of "L.A. Law" are to appear in the Play With Your Food lunchtime theater series for the first time, according to a statement from the play’s production company.
At Toquet Hall, 58 Post Road East, Westport, performances are scheduled for April 4, 5 and 6, according to the statement. The Fairfield Theater Company also is set to host a performance on April 18.
The pair will be performing “A Betrothal: A One Act Play,” according to event organizers, who said the work – written by Lanford Wilson – is “about two lonely gardening souls finding connection in spite of themselves.”
Those attending the performances will also have the opportunity to see contemporary playwright Neil LaBute’s “Squeeze Play,” organizers said, adding that the work provides a sober look at the darker elements of baseball.
Doors will open at 11:50 a.m. for lunch during each of the performances, according to organizers, who said tickets cost about $45 dollars each.
