Leibert’s is showcasing the new Frigidaire Professional line, which includes a front or back control free-standing range, over-the-range microwave, built-in dishwasher, and a variety of refrigerators and freezers.
“One of the things that the average consumer is looking for is that built-in look for their appliances,’’ said Rob Unger, a sales manager at Leiberts. “Frigidaire Professional gives the consumer a less expensive option to get that built-in look with both refrigeration and the front control free-standing range. It really changes the look of a kitchen. It’s a much sleeker look.”
Leiberts recently got its first shipment of the new line of appliances from Frigidaire, which was the first appliance maker to introduce Smudgeproof stainless steel products with a professional look and powerful performance with features designed for precision, consistency, versatility and speed. Optimized for home cooking, these features help achieve an elevated meal experience, without complicating the meal-preparation process.
The free-standing range is a centerpiece of the new line. The range comes with front or back control knobs and is available in gas and electric. The PowerPlus Convection delivers consistent results with powerful performance while a PowerPlus Temperature Probe lets cooks set and monitor dish temperature to ensure great results the first time. The 2-in-1 PowerPlus Burner and Griddle offers versatility for endless meal options. The PowerPlus Preheat reaches oven-ready status much more quickly than conventional ranges.
“In the past, ranges were designed for specific cutouts,’’ Unger said. “They were limited into areas where people could put them in their kitchen. This is a freestanding slide in range that can go into virtually any space in the kitchen.”
The Frigidaire Professional All Refrigerator and Freezer also removes up to seven times more odor than baking soda by eliminating odor particles with absorbent carbon technology. Both products come with a SpacePro Shelving System that offers quick access to fresh ingredients with organizational solutions designed for space optimization with its door and crisper bins, storage baskets and shelving.
The dishwasher offers a 30-minute cycle that cleans dishes much faster than other models. It also gets four-times better wash coverage, includes wash zones for hard to reach ares of bottles and stemware, and dries dishes so they are cabinet ready.
“This new suite meets an unmet need in the mass market,” said John Weinstock, Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Frigidaire Professional brand. “Consumers want a professional look in their kitchen. Unlike most professional appliances, the new suite is compatible with standard-sized appliances so they fit into existing kitchens, eliminating the need to completely renovate the kitchen.”
Unger said the Leiberts team is excited about the new Frigidaire Professional products. “Frigidaire put a lot of thought behind these products and it shows,’’ he said. “They’re designed to look nice and everyone has been impressed by them.”
