Teachers and Assistant Principal Anthony Baxter will forgo shaving to raise awareness and funding for the fight against cancer.

The grown-out hair is meant to draw attention to the many cancer patients who lose their hair during treatment.

The hope is that participants, as well as supporters, will donate the money typically spent on shaving and grooming to educate the public about cancer prevention, save lives and aid those fighting the battle.

The Sleepy Hollow High School team is accepting donations through the end of the month.
