Three-Vehicle Fatal Crash At Orange/Ulster County Line Involved Two DPW Trucks

One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash on the Ulster/Orange county line.

The crash took place around 9:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 4, on Albany Post Road (Route 9) in Shawangunk, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.

Two of the vehicles involved belonged to the Ulster County Public Works Department, Nevel said.

Nevel did not have information on other injuries.

A section of Route 9 is closed during an investigation from Route 52 and Red Top in the town of Shawangunk, state police said.
