Robert Duffy, 63, Clarkstown Resident

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. — Clarkstown resident Robert "Bob” Duffy died Wednesday, May 4. He was 63.

Duffy worked as a chief electrician for many years in the New York City Hospital System. 

After retiring, he became a bus driver for the Clarkstown Central School District. 

For many years, he was an active member of the New City Rams Youth Football Organization, as well as West Nyack Little League.

Duffy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Annette; children, Jaclyn and her husband Nelson, Bobby and his fiancé Amanda, Brian and his wife Kristen, and Alison and her husband Christopher; and granddaughter, Ariana. 

Duffy was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Richard; and siblings, Mary Terino and Richard Duffy. 

Duffy's wake will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home, 728 W. Nyack Road, West Nyack

A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony’s Church, 36 W. Nyack Road, Nanuet. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
