NEW CITY, N. Y. -- No injuries were reported from serious storms throughout the Hudson Valley on Monday night, but they caused downed trees and power outages, especially in New City where thousands of homes lost power, according to News 12.
Orange and Rockland Utilities officials said most of the 5,800 customers who lost power in New City had it restored overnight. In the meantime, there were reports of scattered outages in Westchester, downed power lines, and damage from downed trees, News 12 says.
