CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. – A Pearl River man has pleaded guilty to vehicular assault and other charges in an accident that hurt five people, according to a report on lohud.com
Matthew Beckerle, 50, was drunk when he plowed his truck into the back of another vehicle on Route 304 in the Clarkstown hamlet of Bardonia in summer 2015, the lohud.com report said.
He entered his plea in Rockland County Court Monday, March 28, lohud.com reported.
When Beckerle is sentenced in June, he is expected to get six months behind bars and several months of probation, the lohud.com article said.
