Con Ed May Have To Stop Taking New Customers
Con Edison may be forced to stop accepting new customers due to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s energy policies, according to a New York Post report. The report states that in a recent filing with the Public Service Commission, Con Ed has concerns about the company’s ability to meet “growing customer heating demands for natural gas with currently available resources.” The problem has reached a breaking point, and Con Ed may be forced to stop accepting new customers temporarily.
