Car Lands In Pool Of Long Island Home After Crash, Sending Two Swimming

Two people ended up inside a pool, but not for fun, when the vehicle they were inside landed in the water following a crash.

The incident took place around 9:55 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, when the driver of the vehicle lost control and drove through a fence and into a pool at a home on Sunnyvale Road in Port Washington, said the Nassau County Police.

The car was only partially submerged and both people inside the vehicle were able to escape,  police said. 

Additional details were not available.

Port Washington Fire Department responded to the scene.
