Nicholas Caldarola, 78, of Ossining, White Plains Native

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Nicholas V. Caldarola, a resident of Ossining and formerly of White Plains, died on Tuesday, March 28. He was 78.

Born in White Plains on Feb. 24, 1939, he was the son of the late Rocco and Marie (Catalano) Caldarola.

Caldarola was a graduate of White Plains Schools and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the owner of N.P. Auto Wholesalers, Inc. of Ossining.

He is survived by his wife Mary; four children, Edward Bouchard, Elizabeth Bouchard, Debora DiGiansante, and Philip Caldarola; two sisters, Filomena DiLeo and Mary Nardini; two brothers, Rocco and Vincent Caldarola; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Pl., Ossining. Services will be at Dorsey on Saturday, April 1, at 11 a.m.
