Chappaqua's Bill, Hillary Clinton Expecting Second Grandchild

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Chappaqua resident and Democratic presidential hopefull Hillary Clinton announced she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, are expecting their second grandchild on Twitter Monday.

"Your dad and I could not be happier for you, Marc, and Charlotte. We’re so excited to meet our second grandchild!" Clinton tweeted just before 4 p.m.

The former president also chimed in on Twitter with "Christmas comes early! Hillary Clinton and I are thrilled for Chelsea, Marc and Charlotte’s growing family in 2016!"

The Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, made the announcement via social media just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

Chelsea Clinton's first daughter, Charlotte was born in September 2014.
