Great Decisions: 10 a.m., Chappaqua Library. The community current events discussion group will tackle the issue of Middle East realignment. The event will be facilitated by Phil Sirlin.
Tuesday, April 24
Be Safe in the Hospital: 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Chappaqua Library. The Medicare Rights Center in Westchester will co-sponsor a lecture on how to avoid infection and how to appeal a discharge order if you're not ready to go home. The event is free and open to the public
New Castle Town Board meeting: 7:45 p.m., New Castle Town Hall.
Chappaqua Central School District Board of Education meeting: 8:45 a.m., Education Center.
Wednesday, April 25
Knowledge Café: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Robert E. Bell Middle School. Superintendent Lyn McKay is hosting a Knowledge Café is to engage the community in a larger discussion of three potential ideas for moving the district forward as identified by the Chappaqua Education for the Future Committee. Those interested in attending must RSVP by Monday, April 23.
Thursday, April 26
Book Lovers: 1 p.m., Chappaqua Library. A book discussion about Ann Patchett's "State of Wonder" will be led by Barbara Bernstein, a retired reading specialist.
