Foreign Policy Discussion Group: 10 a.m. Lee Rohde will facilitate a discussion on world population sustainability. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

New Castle Town Board Meeting: 7:45 p.m. New Castle Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Ave.

School Closings: All Chappaqua schools will be closed for Yom Kippur.

NCCMC Documentary Film Series: 5 p.m. NCCMC will screen "REBIRTH", a full-length documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2011. The film chronicles the years-long journey of five people whose lives were shattered by the  9/11 terrorist attacks. Screenings at NCCMC are free and open to the public but registration is required.
