Chambers To Honor Trailblazers Of Putnam Business World

BREWSTER, N.Y. -- The Putnam County Chambers of Commerce will host an event to honor 135 business owners and employees who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

The Trailblazer Alumni Networking party will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, at the Bull & Barrel Brew Pub in Brewster.

Trailblazer award recipients will be treated to live music, food, and drinks as they schmooze and network.

“Over the last six years, the PCCC has honored local business owners with the 40 under 40 award and the Trailblazer awards. This year we are pulling together the alumni recipients for the largest networking event in Putnam County,” said Jennifer Maher, chairwoman of the organization.

Putnam County Executive MaryAnn Odell called the event and "opportunity to spotlight and showcase Putnam County businesses.”

Categories under which the trailblazers are nominated include: emerging, established, mature, environmentally engaged, and socially conscious.

Tickets can be purchased for $50 until Monday, Feb. 15; and for $65 afterwards.
