The PTA has scheduled a Holiday Shopping Boutique from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Mike Risko Music, 144-146 Croton Ave., according to event organizers.

"(The Ossining Upper Elementary PTA) is very excited about this event,” said Christine Consiglo, PTA president. “It's a fun way to get the whole community involved and supporting our programs.”

Consiglo said a portion of the money raised during the Holiday Shopping Boutique will go toward the PTA, which provides “many valuable enrichment activities and supplies throughout the year” at Claremont and Roosevelt elementary schools.

The boutique is expected to feature local vendors selling goods such as candles, clothing, jewelry and crafts, and a karaoke stage that will allow people to sing with a live band in exchange for a donation, according to organizers, who said that all singing donations will go directly to the PTA.

Scheduled vendors include Maison De Campage Candles, WillYUM Spice, Hot Societe Clothing Store, Club Fit and Masha Dasha designs.

The event also is to feature a bake sale offering baked goods, according to organizers, who added that Six Degrees of Separation, a “soon-to-be” brewery opening in Ossining also will be offering its products as well.

"We are really looking forward to hosting this event for the PTA,” said Miriam Risko, owner of Mike Risko Music and the PTA’s vice president. “It is such a great cause and it will be fun to have so many great local vendors visiting us for the evening."
