Stew Leonard Jr. said his chain of dairy stores, which includes Yonkers as well as Danbury, has been looking at new delivery options and more prepared foods — as demanded by millennial customers, NBC Connecticut reported.
Stew's built its business on enticing customers to enjoy its stores, including those in Danbury and Norwalk, with fun displays, fresh produce, a butcher's counter and bakery, NBC Connecticut said.
But the Amazon model could change that as shopping styles change to quick pickup and delivery, Leonard told NBC Connecticut.
