Concordia College Baseball to Pitch for A Cure

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Concordia College’s baseball team will play in a two-day tournament called “Pitch for A Cure: Strike Out Juvenile Diabetes” at Adelphi University this fall.

The tournament will be held Oct. 6 and 7 at Adelphi’s William J. Bonomo Memorial Field and will feature the Clippers, the host Adelphi University, Molloy College and the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University.

Pitch for A Cure is a non-profit organization that helps sick and underprivileged children in a variety of ways, from granting their wishes to supporting their families with monetary aid for medical expenses. The group also aids hospitals and childcare facilities.
