Bronxvilles Lucy Jackson had a goal and Larchmonts Charlotte Gardiner had an assist as Middlebury College beat undefeated Bowdoin, 3-0 in Saturdays NCAA Division III Field Hockey semifinal.
Middlebury, which lost to Bowdoin twice previously this season, will play The College of New Jersey in the title game, 1 p.m. Sunday.
Jackson opened the scoring, at the 8:25 mark, deflecting a Catherine Fowler shot on a penalty corner. Five minutes later, Gardiner set up Lauren Greers goal. The 2009 Mamaroneck graduate carried the ball into the circle and fed Greer.
Middlebury has seven Westchester County players on the roster Liz Garry, a Rye Country Day School graduate and Mamaroneck resident, Scarsdales Margaret Souther and Emily Knapp, Mamaroneck graduate Madeleine Despins, Rye resident Deidre Miller, Gardiner and Jackson.
