BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Concordia College women’s soccer program in Bronxville was recognized as a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team Sportsmanship Award recipient Monday morning, as announced by the CACC (Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference).
The Clippers, along with the Bears of Bloomfield College, were the two teams to receive the recognition from the conference office on the women’s side. Concordia was also a recipient of the award in 2011.
This year’s squad finished with a 1-13-0 (1-11-0 CACC) record as their lone win on Oct. 7 against Bloomfield snapped a 61-game winless streak. The Clippers accumulated a total of only four yellow cards this season, tied for the fewest in the league.
