Suspicious SUV Driver Talked To Bronxville Child, Police Say

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Police are investigating a suspicious incident that saw a man in an SUV allegedly approach a child and ask questions before taking off.

Police were dispatched to an Edgewood Lane home at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, following reports from a parent who said that an unknown man in a black GMC SUV approached her juvenile daughter in the front lawn and asked her questions about the previous homeowner.

According to police, the man subsequently left the scene, and officers conducting a canvas of the area could not track him down. Police said that the incident is currently being investigated.
