EASTCHESTER, N.Y. Santa will be very busy on Saturday and Sunday, making several appearances in town.
One of Santa's stops will be the annual "Light up the Town" on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., hosted by the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Haagen Dazs Ice Cream. Frosty and Santa will be there at Park Place and Kraft Avenues right near Haagen Dazs.
Down the road in Tuckahoe, The Generoso Pope Foundation will sponsor Winterfest held in Depot Square on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. The tree will be lit in the square at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Santa's magic will help turn Depot Square into a skating rink with holiday music. Santa himself will be available for photos from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, where he will be waiting inside the Pope Building. Several of Santa's reindeer will be parked out front.
On Dec. 10, the Holidayfest will will be held in Crestwood at Columbus and Fisher avenues from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event features holiday music and live reindeer.
