EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - Each week the libraries in Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe present events, book clubs, movies and many other kinds of activities. Most of the activities and events are free of charge but many require pre-registration due to space limitations. Here is what's going on at the libraries for the week of January 18 through January 21.
Wednesday, January 18
The Knitting Group will meet at the Bronxville Library at 11 a.m.
The Bronxville Library presents the film "Another Year," at 2:30 p.m.
The Knitting Club at the Tuckahoe Library at 7 p.m.
Thursday, January 19
The Bronxville Library presents the film "Mao's Last Dancer at 2:30 p.m.
The Scarsdale Library presents snow crafts for kids at 4:00 p.m. Registration is not required
Friday, January 20
The Bronxville Library presents the film "Kung Fu Panda 2," at 3:30 p.m
The Eastchester Library presents the film " The Debt," at 1 p.m.
Saturday January 21
The Bronxville Library presents the film "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn," at 2:00 p.m.
The Scarsdale Library presents a Chinese New Year celebration for kids at 2:00 p.m. Registration is not required.
