WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Global Studies faculty and Women's History graduate program at Sarah Lawrence College will be presenting a talk by author and scholar Blanche Wiesen Cook, in celebration of her third and final volume in a biography of Eleanor Roosevelt.
The author talk will be on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Cook’s talk, "Eleanor Roosevelt’s Legacy: Our Ongoing Struggle for Human Rights," which will be a preview the forthcoming book of the same name, will take place in the Esther Raushenbush Library Great Room. Cook is distinguished professor of history and women’s studies at John Jay College and the City University of New York Graduate Center.
