
Lisa Hofflich
Community AdvisorLisa Hofflich is a community advisor for Daily Voice. A journalism graduate of New York University, Hofflich is a former investigative television news producer for CNBC, WNBC, and Consumer Reports, as well as Assignment Editor for EXTRA. A longtime resident of Westchester County, Hofflich reactivated the Westchester Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and serves as its current president. She is also a board member of the New York City chapter while serving on the statewide NOW council, and chairing the NOW New York State LGBT Task Force. For the past decade, Hofflich has been been immersed in nonprofit lobbying and advocacy, devising, spearheading, and leading statewide policy action campaigns in women's and children's issues, centering mainly around combating human trafficking, domestic violence, gender equity, and transgender rights., to name a few. Since 2007, Hofflich has advocated as part of a coalition of women's prison and domestic violence groups to pass laws that would ameliorate sentences for incarcerated survivors. She also enterprised a social media and photo campaign targeted at raising awareness of human trafficking and was part of the team to help pass the Trafficking Victims Protection and Justice Act in the New York State Legislature. She has testified in front of the New York State Senate participated in New York State Assembly roundtable discussions on policy issues. Hofflich is also currently a board member of Bartow-Pell Conservancy in the Bronx, the Pelham Art Center, and a former chair of the New York State Public Affairs Committee of the Junior League and past president of the Junior League of Bronxville
