WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Motorists planning on traveling on Route 134 in Ossining this week can expect delays as construction crews perform maintenance activities in the area.

Beginning on Wednesday, a stretch of Route 134 between Hawks Avenue and Croton Dam Road will be closed daily - weather permitting - from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Work is expected to last up to two or three days, and should be clear by the weekend.

Detour signage will be posted and flaggers will be in the area to help direct traffic. Motorists have been warned that delays can be expected in the area and that fines are doubled for violations in a work zone.
