Pace Men's Lacrosse Posts Win, Softball Splits

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pace’s men’s lacrosse team downed Southern New Hampshire, 9-3, on Saturday behind Kevin Kadlick’s three goals. Pace is now 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the Northeast-10 Conference.

The game served as a fundraiser for the Michael Piegare Foundation and the crowd donated more than $600 to the organization on Saturday. Pace next hosts Adelphi University on Tuesday at 4 p.m. as “Pace Goes Pink.”


Pace split a doubleheader with Merrimack College as the Setters won game one, 6-2, but dropped the second game, 7-5. The Setters are now 21-11 overall and 9-9 in conference.

Hana Wright went 4-for-8, smacked two homeruns and had five RBI in the two games. Pace resumes play with a doubleheader on Wednesday at conference foe American International at 3 p.m.


The Setters lost both games of a doubleheader to conference opponent Franklin Pierce University on Saturday. The Ravens dominated the Setters with a 10-1 win in game one and an 11-2 win in game two. Pace is now 16-13 overall and 7-6 in conference.

Charlie Galasso drove in two of Pace’s three runs on the day.

Pace travels to Adelphi University on Wednesday for an NE-10 Southwest Division matchup at 3:30 p.m.

Track and Field:

Both the men and women had strong showings for Pace at the American International Invitational. Freshman Katelyn Spadalik recorded a time of 5:33.07 in the 1,500-meter run. Patrick Schreiner placed fourth in the discus throw with a distance of 46.10 meters and 14th in shot put with a throw of 11.82 meters.

Pace returns to action on Saturday, April 21 at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.
