Teens Stole, Used Student's Credit Card In Peekskill, Cortlandt, Police Say

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two 17-year-old Hendrick Hudson High School students were arrested on Wednesday, March 30 following a lengthy investigation into the theft and use of a stolen debit card, state police state. 

The two students stole a debit card from a victim at the school on March 7 and proceeded to make purchases at multiple establishments in the Town of Cortlandt and in the City of Peekskill, according to police.

Both teens were issued appearance tickets for one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a Class E felony and are due to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on Monday, April 4. 

One defendant was additionally charged with the same crime and issued an appearance ticket returnable in the City of Peekskill Court on Thursday, April 7.
