Briarcliff Police: Accident Sends One to Hospital

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – An 88-year-old Briarcliff Manor resident involved in a two-car accident was sent to the hospital June 7.  

Briarcliff Manor police say Paul Siegel received head lacerations after his 1998 Volvo crashed into a 1991 Acura around 2 p.m. June 7 on Route 9 in Briarcliff Manor. Lorraine Siegel, 82, was in the passenger seat of the Volvo but did not require a trip to the hospital, police said. The driver of the Acura, 45-year-old Michael Mallory also did not require medical attention, police said.

No citations were issued in the accident.

Suspended License Arrest: Briarcliff Manor police arrested Ossining resident Alexander Spartos, 29, June 5, after discovering he allegedly was driving with a suspended license and suspended registration during a routine traffic stop.
