- A military vehicle overturned on Interstate 95 in Rye-Port Chester border killing one person.
- Gov. Andrew Cuomo had flags flown at half-staff to honor U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Harold Greene, a New York mative, who was killed in Afghanistan.
