OSSINING, N.Y. The Friends of the Ossining Public Library is planning to hold its Fall Book Sale this weekend featuring "gently-used" copies of classics, children's tales and more.
The sale will be held in the lower level of the Ossining library at 53 Croton Ave. on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
"It's a great place to come if people want to add to their own personal library and get some great buys on great books," said James Trapasso, a program coordinator for the library.
On Friday, members of the Friends of the Ossining Public Library, a non-profit volunteer group that helps the library with fundraising and volunteer activities, are invited for a pre-sale and refreshments from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
