Briarcliff Nursery School Children Support Ossining Food Pantry

BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- Briarcliff Nursery School's 4- and 5-year-old children recently raised money for the Ossining Food Pantry at their Village Day event.

“We are grateful to the children, parents and teachers of the Briarcliff Nursery School for their generous support of the Ossining Food Pantry’s efforts," said Martin B. Engelhardt Jr., president of the Ossining Food Pantry.

"It is inspiring to see young children motivated to help our neighbors in need," he added. "The children’s donation will go directly toward the purchase of food to help feed the needy in the Greater Ossining area.” 

The children also made art work, jewelry and stationery and raised $186 through the sales of these items.
