Shelter officials said that Indy is "awesome," after the journey she has experienced. Indy was scared when she arrived at the shelter, but officials said she is acclimating to the new surroundings and is starting to show her personality, which is gentle and loving.
No one is sure what breed she is, but shelter officials are guessing some sort of shepherd mix.
Indy gets along with other dogs and would like a home with older kids (16+) who will understand that she needs patience as she gets comfortable in her new life and surroundings.
