Chico is looking for his forever home.
Chico is a five-year-old American bulldog/basset hound mix. The SPCA said Chico is a friendly, boisterous guy who will need to stay on the calm side for the next few months -- he's heartworm positive and has to stick to leash walks, nosework, food puzzles while he gets his treatments.
Chico is eligible for foster-to-adopt, which means he can receive the care he needs in a home instead of at the shelter, his heartworm treatment will be covered by the SPCA at its clinic. When his treatments are done, an adoption can be finalized, the SPCA said.
