Baby New Year: Northern Westchester Couple Celebrates Jan. 1 Early Morning Birth

A lucky Nothern Westchester couple only had to wait for about an hour past the fireworks ringing in the New Year for their bundle of joy to arrive.

Baby boy Handler was born at 1:05 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 1, at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor.

Parents Brian and Kayte Handler are residents of Peekskill.

The bouncing baby boy weighed in at six pounds and was 19-inches-long.
